1. What Style or feel of music did you use for the credit sequence
and why?
In my opening sequence i used build-up music to match the mood
and theme of the scene. The built-up music was to signify the build-up and to
bring tension to the audience. The build-up music was to show that the dark
background and what it signifies to the upcoming sequence. The style i chose
was dark and build-up music to bring out the tension and the true meaning of
the scene and to show what the scene is trying to show the audience.
2. What style or feel or music did
you use for the playground sequence and why?
The playground sequence i started with a piano to express the
emotions of harries and to bring out his mood and what his facial expressions
were trying to say to the audience. The piano was to show the slow and
antisocial behavior of harry. The piano was the feel of music in this scene
because it was to express the emotions flying around the scene in the
playground scene. I went for piano because it helped to the mood of sunny with
a dash of unhappiness with some mix emotions in the scene.
3. What style or feel of music did you use for the sequence
when the Dementors appeared and why? How do you feel the music and feel
changed? To what extent do you feel you managed to convey the change in mood?
I was using suspense music because the scene was set-up to
the position where it didn't need more build-up because the build-up music was
building up to this scene. Another type of music i used was fast to follow the
tempo of the scene and to signify the mood. In this particular scene i convey
the music to fit the mood that the scene had built-up to. When i had change the
mood of the music it was to show the audience the change of mood and the equilibrium
feeling in the scene
4. How Pleased are you with the final sequence overall?
I feel my final sequence was brilliant because i felt as if i
bought out the mood of the scene and made very good use of it and the sounds
that i had used helped me and the audience see what the music signifies in the
sequence. I believe that my sequence fell into all the categories as a success because;
i have matched the mood of every part of the scenes.
How effective do you think your soundtrack for the whole sequence?
